Privacy Policy

PureWave (the "app") is published by Creative Factory ("we", "us", "our"), based in İstanbul, Türkiye. This page describes what data the app accesses, how it is used, and your choices. If you have questions, write to hi@creativefactory.tr.
1. Data we do not collect
- We do not run analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs.
- We do not collect device identifiers (IDFA, advertising IDs, fingerprints).
- We do not transmit your audio, hearing test results, or app activity to any server.
- We do not maintain user accounts. The app is fully anonymous.
2. Data the app uses on your device
- Microphone audio — only while the Spectrum Analyzer or a hearing test screen is open. Audio is processed in real time on-device for the live frequency display. It is not saved, recorded, or sent anywhere.
- Local notifications — used only to remind you of speaker tests you have scheduled. You can disable them in iOS Settings at any time.
- App preferences & test history — stored locally in an app-group container so widgets and Shortcuts can read your most recent test date.
- Onboarding answers — your selected goal, pains, and device preferences are stored in your device's
UserDefaultsand used only to personalize the in-app experience. They never leave your phone.
3. Subscriptions
PureWave Pro is sold through Apple's StoreKit. Apple handles all billing; we never see your payment information. To manage receipts and entitlements we use RevenueCat, which processes a randomly-generated anonymous identifier and your subscription state. RevenueCat's privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.
4. Required-reason API declarations
Per Apple's iOS 17+ privacy manifest requirements, PureWave declares the following APIs and the reasons it uses them:
- UserDefaults — store the user's app preferences and onboarding state on-device. (Reason:
CA92.1) - File Timestamp — read/write timestamps for exported tone files in the app sandbox. (Reason:
C617.1) - System Boot Time — used by AVFoundation for audio engine scheduling. (Reason:
35F9.1) - Disk Space — used by AVFoundation when rendering audio exports. (Reason:
E174.1)
5. Children
PureWave is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
6. Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to request, export, or delete on our side. To remove local data, delete the app from your device — iOS will purge its sandbox and the app-group container.
If you are in the EU/UK and believe a right under GDPR applies, write to us and we will respond within the statutory window.
7. Changes
If we update this policy we will revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the new policy.
