The Water Eject tone doesn't sound. What's wrong?

Make sure your phone is not in silent mode, Do Not Disturb is off, and the system volume is set to maximum. Water Eject uses a low sub-bass tone — at low volume you may feel it more than hear it.

The Spectrum Analyzer says it needs microphone access.

Go to iOS Settings ▸ PureWave ▸ Microphone and enable access. The analyzer processes audio entirely on-device — nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.

I purchased PureWave Pro but it's asking me to pay again.

On the paywall screen, tap Restore. Your purchase will be re-fetched from Apple. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID you used for the purchase.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open iOS Settings ▸ tap your Apple ID at the top ▸ Subscriptions ▸ PureWave, then tap "Cancel Subscription". You can also reach this from inside PureWave: Settings ▸ Manage Subscription.

Can PureWave really test my hearing?

The Hearing Range Test sweeps from 20 Hz up to 20 kHz and reports the highest frequency you can still hear. It is informational and educational, not a medical diagnostic. For a clinical hearing test, see a licensed audiologist.

Does PureWave work without an internet connection?

Yes. The only network call PureWave makes is to verify your subscription on launch via RevenueCat. Every audio tool runs fully offline.

Burn-in stops when my phone screen turns off.

PureWave keeps the screen awake during Burn-in to avoid audio session interruption. If your phone still sleeps, plug it into power and check that "Auto-Lock" is set to a generous value in iOS Settings ▸ Display & Brightness.

My speaker test results disappeared.

Test history is stored locally on your device. If you reinstalled the app or restored from a backup, the history may not have transferred. We're working on iCloud sync for a future update.

How do I delete my data?

PureWave doesn't store any data off-device. Delete the app from your home screen and iOS will purge the local container. Subscription status is held by Apple and RevenueCat under their respective policies.

What devices are supported?

iPhone and iPad running iOS / iPadOS 17 or later. The widget and Shortcuts work on iOS 17+; the Spectrum Analyzer requires a working microphone (it will not function in the iOS Simulator).
